Awesome news! The roof of the iconic Groot Handelsgebouw has officially opened its doors to visitors on the 8th of July. This means there is a vibrant new hotspot: The Rooftop. Here you can experience immersive activities, play exciting games for all ages and meet for a meal or drink.
This is the start of a transformation that will turn the Groot Handelsgebouw (GHG) into a meeting place. GHG wants to put itself on the map for Rotterdammers and beyond, transcend its architectural status and become the focal point for Rotterdammers.

Iconic rooftop with restaurant and bar
The restaurant and bar, run by Spinning Group with Smoke Masters as chef, offers a full menu and bar with many options.
Visit the rooftop and enjoy culinary dishes, refreshing cocktails and the beautiful terrace with a view of the center of Rotterdam.
The menu includes accessible dishes, such as smash burgers and loaded fries, healthy salads and lunch options. Everything is made in an open kitchen and at two food stations. For example, there will be a food station where you feel like a child in a candy store, with all kinds of different snacks and delicacies.
Rather have a cup of coffee? That is also available, with fresh pastries.
Activities for young and old
Besides the fact that you can eat and drink here, there are also fun activities to experience. Play fun arcade games, life size connect four, table football, mini golf and get lost in a life-sized maze. There is also a secret photobooth to capture all the memories.
