Do you have something to celebrate or is it time – after getting take away pizza for weeks – for a somewhat more elaborate and chic meal? Then I have good news for you, because the restaurants below from the Michelin guide deliver their meals to your home in Rotterdam or are open for takeaway. Fancy dining in your living room it is!
A Rotterdam Michelin experience at home
Okay, you have to visualize this beautiful interior (unless your house is just as pretty), but you can leave the rest to Héroine. From Friday to Sunday they provide a four-course menu that you can pick up or have delivered. All you have to do is make sure you have good company and a great place to eat.
Check out how you can order ‘Héroine at Home’!
Unfortunately, the reopening of restaurant Amarone* was short-lived. In the summer of 2019, the restaurant was damaged by a fire, but at the end of February this year, in good spirits, cleaning and renovation, it finally opened its doors again.
To ensure that we no longer have to live without Amarone* ‘s delicious dishes, the restaurant now offers a two-course star menu for € 32.50 which they deliver to your door. So time to enjoy great food at your own kitchen table!
In 2014, Rolph and Chantal opened the doors of the HMB Restaurant and they have been an integral part of Rotterdam ever since. HMB can be found at number 51 of the Lekker 500 and so they prove that they belong to the culinary top of the Netherlands.
Because the doors have obviously been closed for a while, they will happily bring you a four-course menu and a bottle of wine of your choice. Do you miss the view and would you like to enjoy the Maas and the Erasmus Bridge? You can also pick it up yourself. View the menu on HMB’s Instagram page!
4. Gym & Gin
For the third year in a row, Gym & Gin received the Michelin Bib Gourmand. This means that they have an excellent price-quality ratio. And despite the fact that we miss the spot at their beautiful bar, it brings us some comfort that the crew of Gym & Gin simply deliver the same quality to your home.
Did we get you excited? Check out the menu and contact details on their Instagram.
5. Gastrobar Ster
Gastrobar Ster comes with a new menu every week. And now you can also get started yourself from Thursday to Sunday, because for the hobby chefs among us they introduce the ‘Gastro HomeKit’. And so it contains everything you need for a delicious meal. All you have to take care of is some practical cookware.
Not such a star in the kitchen? The takeaway menu makes things a lot easier. One, two, three or four courses; it is up to you!
6. In den RustWat
On the website of In den RustWat – just like in the restaurant itself – you get the opportunity to compose your own three-course menu. And the choice is huge, because with no fewer than five main courses, there is something for everyone.
Meat, fish or vegetarian; In den RustWhat will arrange it for you.
Last week, chef Mario Ridder first presented a special tasting set in the form of an accessible three-course menu.
Joelia* likes to offer a full culinary experience – in their restaurant and from home – so you can also choose from five types of wine. Unfortunately, it is not possible to have the menu delivered, but it can be picked up.
8. Old Dutch
Old Dutch comes with an extensive delivery menu. The carefully composed fish, meat and vegetarian menus are available from Friday to Sunday and can be picked up as well as delivered in Rotterdam and surroundings areas.
Are you hungry, but is a whole menu is a bit too much? Ordering a separate dish is also possible!
9. Aji Rotterdam
Now that we have to postpone our trip to that one exotic place, there is nothing better than imagining yourself abroad for a few hours. Order your meal at Aji Rotterdam and the atmospheres from afar take over your living room in no time.
For a few weeks now we don’t really know what day it is, so the rule “I only drink on weekends” has been put aside. Restaurant Fitzgerald* understands this all too well and that is why, in collaboration with their wine importer, Anfors Imperial, they deliver their favorite wines to your home.
More information about the available wines can be found on the website of Restaurant Fitzgerald*.
11. The Millèn*
The Millèn restaurant, located in the iconic Millenium Tower, does not sit still despite the fact that the doors are currently closed. Chef Wim Severein, for example, is busy developing his own limoncello.
In any case, we can’t wait to taste this. Neither can you? Then buy a gift card from their website – for yourself or to give as a gift. This way you support and The Millèn and you also have something to look forward to.
So, where are you going to order something for a culinary experience at home? I’m curious, let me know in the comments below!
