Old Dutch Masters with a modern twist
The founders of this unique attraction are Dick van Zuylen (former director of Mojo Events) and Robin Groeneveld (known from friends of Amstel Live). They have asked the ‘Dutch Masters’ of this time, Woodwork, Y=f(x), YiPP and Studio Smack, to help with the Remastered Experience. In addition, contemporary music makers, such as DJ Sam Feldt, have contributed to the music tracks.
The various rooms are based on the artworks of Old Dutch Masters. Rembrandt’s mastery of light and shadow, Vermeer’s landscapes, Van Gogh’s wild brushstrokes and the unusual unearthly fantasies of Hieronymus Bosch have inspired the unique 3D projections.
A (digital) world full of art and music
It is an instant adventure when you enter the Remastered Experience. Walk under the waterfall and you will enter the magical underwater world. Here you can interact with the fish and sea anemones, which respond to your touch.
In the next room you imagine yourself high in the sky. Board a boat to sail on the clouds with a flock of birds.
Slowly but surely the tension builds and in the last room it seems as if you have ended up in a club. The coolest visuals are projected, but audio certainly plays a major role as well. It is exactly in sync with what you see and makes the experience even more intense. You can dance to the beat of Mondrian’s Victory Boogie Woogie.
As icing on the cake, you can make and scan your own drawing. It then appears on a large LED screen. This way you can see your own personalized rocket, hot air balloon or helicopter flying around.
