How do I get to Rotterdam?

From Schiphol to Rotterdam

One of the options to travel to Rotterdam is to fly to Schiphol. This is near Amsterdam, which means that you have to travel a bit after your flight, before arriving in Rotterdam. Fortunately, this is very simple. A fast train goes directly from Schiphol to Rotterdam Central, called the Intercity Direct. This ride only takes 26 minutes. Once you arrive at Schiphol, the train station is located right after the arrival halls.

Another option is to take a taxi. You can book a taxi in advance via various websites. Here you pay a fixed price. You can also hail a taxi at the airport, but keep in mind that you pay according to the meter. To avoid surprises, we recommend booking your taxi in advance.
