Although the end of summer is slowly approaching, there are still plenty of great parties and festivals to look forward to. Dress up (or not, whatever you feel like), put on your best dancing shoes and hit the road with your friends. It’s time to create unforgettable memories.

1. Motel Mozaique

This is going to be a great party. After a successful edition in April, it will be time for the next MOMO experience on September 2. During the MOMO Fabrique Festival, M4H will be conquered with a groundbreaking mix of music, art and performances, both day and night.
This year the festival is all about electronic music, with an epic programme of no less than 13 hours. From 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM there will be live performances and DJs who will entertain the public on various stages at Weelde, Fruitvis and Citrusveiling.
The first names in the line-up are known, with DJs from Amsterdam and Rotterdam such as Nedda Sou, JJAQ and Suze Ijò, live performances by Loradeniz, Ishtar Bakhtali and the new project comforter2, founded by Tammo Hesselink, Meetsysteem and M4ry.
This one-day festival brings globally acclaimed producers and DJs to the stages of Weelde: the eclectic HUNEE heats up the event with a set on the beach at the Zandbar, while the colourful beats of Call Super keep the crowd dancing into the wee hours.
But there’s more! MOMO Fabrique also offers a free day programme full of music, art exhibitions, performances, markets and guided tours at special locations in the M4H, including Keilepand, Voedseltuin and Brutus’ garden.

2. Blijdorp festival
Visit another festival this summer! On August 12, you’ll go wild to the beats of great artists such as David Vunk, Horse Giirl and Speedy J & Rod. Goldband is also present, with their unique sound that combines influences from the 80s Dutch pop, disco, electro and trance.
There are only Laatbloeier tickets left for sale, so make your move quickly.

3. Weelde Festival LOADING 4-NOW

Another party at Weelde, and then the biggest party you can experience here: Weelde Festival. During this 12-hour festival you will be taken on an epic journey from late to early.
From 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM you will be transported into the colourful diversity of the world called Weelde. During the Weelde Festival you will experience everything Weelde has to offer in an endless adventure.
Let yourself be carried away by the enchanting music, taste the delicious dishes and drinks and be surprised by the great live acts and more. Travel through the darkest hours of the night, surrounded by uplifting music, and end the experience with a serene morning concert, where even after an exuberant rave, you can completely unwind.
This year the festival is all about transformation and change. It is the last year that Weelde will take place in its current form. The concept and the festival undergo a transformation from this year to next year, just as you, the visitor, transform from the evening hours to the morning hours.

4. Baroeg Open Air
On Saturday 9 September you are welcome again at Baroeg Open Air in Rotterdam’s Zuiderpark. A diverse programme has been put together within hard and alternative music. No fewer than 27 acts can be heard and seen on five different stages.
The line-up includes the phenomenal headliners Katatonia, Infected Mushroom and the Belgian sensation Brutus who previously made an impression at festivals such as Roadburn and Paaspop.
She Past Away and NanowaR of Steel will also come, both of whom filled the Baroeg pop stage this year.

5. Ferry

At Ferry you are welcome for an LGBTQ+ night out, full of great music, a warm and fun atmosphere and the company of great people.
Our blogger Masha previously wrote about parties on Mondays at Ferry. Unlike many clubs in the Netherlands, the bar is also open on Mondays for their weekly drag show Manic Monday. Every week, fabulous queens perform live on Ferry’s stage, showcasing their talents through mesmerizing dance and song.
In addition, there are many other fun parties on the agenda at Ferry during the weekend!

6. Now & Wow – rave XXL

Now & Wow is located in a former silo building. With ceilings 40 meters high, Now & Wow consists of a main room where they remix popular hits, and two smaller rooms with genre music.
There are several cool parties in Now & Wow, so you have Rave XXL on Friday 25 August. Expect three stages with DJs from all over the world!

7. Annabel – Zomerclub
Annabel is a club and pop stage in one. In the summer it is time for the Summer Club at Annabel every weekend. What can you expect? Sweet hits, summery tracks and a lot of dancing.

7. Vrije volk festival
Are you in the mood for Halloween yet? Put this party later in the year in your agenda. The Halloween edition of Vrije Volk Festival is scheduled for October 28!

8. Perron
Perron is the real techno bunker of Rotterdam. Inside you have no idea what time it is, but that doesn’t matter at all.
