Zainab Roshni Mahal can be found on the Nieuwe Binnenweg. As soon as you step inside this Indian/Pakistani restaurant, you imagine yourself in another country. The interior has a lot of nice details, from the special wall with built-in “candles” to the colorful lamps and the bright green tablecloth around the buffet table.
At Zainab you can enjoy an all you can eat open buffet for a reasonable price. It is also possible to order food a la carte.
The extensive menu features authentic Pakistani and Indian dishes. Think of a fresh lentil soup, shrimp pakora (fried shrimp, delicious as a starter) and countless curries, made with lots of spices, paneer, meat or fish. With the fresh curries you get naan and rice.
Good to know: children from 4 to 9 years old eat for half price and up to 3 years old eat for free.
