Restaurant Tres is located on the Handelsplein in Rotterdam, under the Entrepotgebouw. When you walk down the cellar stairs here, you are taken on a culinary journey where everything is taken care of from start to finish.
In this special restaurant there is only room for an intimate group of 12 people per evening. Hostess Emy Koster and chef Michael van der Kroft (recently nominated for The Best Chef Top 100) ensure that their guests have an intimate dining experience where every detail has been carefully thought through. The menu consists of products from local suppliers, you will find vintage gems in the interior and the service is of the highest level.
One set menu
There’s a one set menu for all the guests. A wonderful tasting menu consisting of 18 servings, starting with snacks, savoury dishes and finishing with desserts and mignardises. They offer an alcoholic beverage pairing or non-alcoholic beverage pairing. These drinks have been chosen carefully to enhance and complement the dishes served throughout the experience.
Tres food lab and patisserie
Since 2023 there is something new at Tres: a food lab where they give an insight into their process. Here, new flavours are developed and tested with existing products to continuously create a sublime taste experience. Guests experience this entire process by tasting the various flavours themselves.
The arrival of the patisserie also adds a new dimension to the special tour. This is still under development, just like the desserts that guests can indulge their taste buds with. A mysterious surprise that is worth discovering for yourself.
