Do you already know this gem in Rotterdam? The Heemtuin is located in the middle of the Kralingse Bos, a popular place in Rotterdam. Yet few people know about this green oasis.
Follow the path along the Kralingse Plas and you will find this hidden gem on the northwest side of the forest. This botanical garden was created at the end of 1960.
Here you will find all kinds of plants, trees and shrubs. Walk across the narrow jetty through all the greenery and eventually you will arrive at the Kralingse Plas and you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the Rotterdam skyline.
