The open kitchen is the focus point of bustling Spanish bar and restaurant Bar Berta on the Calandstraat. From many of the tables and from the bar that runs around the kitchen, you can watch the chefs hard at work frying, baking and assembling your tapas, while chatting away in Spanish.
The dishes are freshly made, roughly assembled and focused on just a few key ingredients. Choose from fried fish or duck liver, artichoke omelette, roasted octopus, eggplant chips, Manchego cheese, and more. Meanwhile, the hosts will gladly help you choose the perfect wine or vermouth pairing.
